About Me

My name is Tiana Wanson and I have been married since 1998 to my wonderful husband Erik. We moved to Round Rock TX in 2003 from Southern California in hopes for a better way of life for our new family.  I am the proud mother to two beautiful children Ryan and Camryn who have opened my heart as a mother and paved my way for becoming a daycare provider and early childhood educator.

I currently have a CDA (Child Development Associates) and am licensed with the state of TX.  I am continuously taking classes to expand my knowledge as a daycare provider and learn more about child development and related topics.

In starting my home daycare I wanted to provide an atmosphere where parents could feel comfortable in leaving their children.  It sometimes can be a difficult decision for a parent to go back to work and leave their child in daycare.  One of my main goals was to make that transition an easy one.

I am a firm believer in attachment parenting a term coined by the popular Dr. Sears.  This style of parenting includes' extended breastfeeding, babywearing, co-sleeping and being very atintive to your child's needs. This has made me a very nurturning parent and has played a big role in how I interact with children in my care

I am also a huge advocate for proper child nutrition and living a more "green" lifestyle. I am part of the FDA Food Program and go beyond the guidlines for meals.  I go organic as often as possible and exclude foods which contain MSG, HFCS, and trans fats. All cleaning done in my home is done with safe economically friendly cleaners
